A completely new release of the SAWI Bachelor in Sports Management is available this coming September 2021. The setting for this move is the new partnership between the American Business School of Paris (ABS Paris) and SAWI. The program redesigned to allow our students to benefit from a double US and European certification will be taught entirely in English.
The beginning of the next academic year is approaching fast, and we can already get a glimpse of its share of innovations. From next September onwards our Bachelor students in Sports Management will discover a brand-new program, set up jointly with the ABS Paris as part of a new partnership. The « SAWI American Business School Bachelor in Sports Management » presents our students with a redesigned course content, as well as a double certification at the end of the curriculum.
On the strength of more than 35 years of experience the ABS Paris is an international school recognized on the world market. The programs offered by the ABS are based on the US teaching system and benefit from a double US and European certification. Fady Fadel, Dean and CAO at the ABS Paris welcomed the event saying « We are thrilled to launch this new partnership between the American Business School of Paris and SAWI in the context of this double US and European degree in Sports Management. The cooperation between our universities will allow students and the university community to benefit from the assets of both partners, as well as from the international setting of the course ».
François Besençon, Chairman of the Board of Directors at SAWI adds: « We are delighted to develop such a collaboration with the American Business School of Paris. The sector of sports business is very geared towards the Anglo-Saxon market. In that sense, such a program, in English, with its double US and American certification will be the perfect fit for the employability requirements, which SAWI first and foremost aims to meet.».
The SAWI American Business School Bachelor in Sports Management will be launched this coming September 2021 and run over three years. The curriculum is set up as follows: students will allocate 60% of their time to employment or elite sporting activity and 40% will be spent in class. Students will be able to largely benefit from Lausanne’s offering as Olympic capital. Remaining true to its brand SAWI ensures all teaching continues to be given by professionals who are active in their areas of expertise. The lecturers are very excited about this move and look forward to taking the lead of this new program. Marc Caron, professor in Health and Sports Management summarized by saying « More than simply Sport Management with the ABS Paris, our students will hold all the necessary cards to become not only excellent sports managers but more broadly excellent management specialists ».
